This is Doldrum X, and I am looking for new team members for the new campaign, Alex and Daro!
The story has been written by a friend of mine and may get published into a fantasy novel soon! Now, we need staff members. You can see the story below

Sign Up List: Choose one of the following jobs you wish to apply for. Job applications due 01/01/03. Jobs in purple are already taken.

Terrain Editor- Need an individual that is good at terrain editing and doodad placement. Create a 32x32 or 64x64 map of any tileset but with good terrain and doodad placement.

Site Editor- Need someone that can create and manage the offical site for the campaign. Show a homepage or personal web page with images and news fourm.

Skin Editor- Need someone good with skins to create a black-haired guy from Arthas (with hammer or sword). Be sure to add some sort of part ot him other than simply changing colors. Doesn't matter if you can import it into a map or not.

Cinematlic/Trigger Editor- Need someone who can create advanced movies. Create a 128x128 map with a 5 to 10 min. movie. Terrain will not matter as long as it is acceptable.

Voice Actors- (New) Now we are looking for five voice actors to use their talents for the characters. One female voice needed.

It's me, Doldrum X.

Here's the story. It is summarized so it can fit and written directly to me, so just pardon that. :ggani: By the way, if you haven't noticed, cinematic position is open again.

Alex and Daro
Act 1

Fight
 Adria (Maiden of Murder), Cao (Lord of Lies and Deception), and Crownas (Lord of Fear and Nightmares) sit in a room when Zerrus (Lord of Vengeance) enters and says he has killed the last Boltonic Knight
 Adria happily quips about how heaven will be “morally crushed by the death of their beloved Boltonic Knights”
 Cao remarks about her absence in the killings, despite murder being her field
 Adria remarks that Cao didn’t help either; Cao comes back by saying it’s not his field
 Adria says that the “Old Way” (that each commander should stick with his or her field) isn’t helping in the fight; they argue severely over the “Old Way” and the “New Way” (that all commanders should forsake their titles)
 It reaches a point where Adria threatens to kill Cao; Zerrus and Crownas back him up; Adria stomps off in disgust

Knowledge
 Kane (Guardian of Knowledge) is sitting in a giant library when Alexander Nicholai (Meta-Paladin) enters
 Alexander asks about the disturbance among Rift’s forces; Kane answers by telling him Cao and Adria are fighting again and that it is a natural hatred between firstborn (Cao) and newborn (Adria)
 Alexander asks about his daughter and we learn that his daughter, Alexis Nikki, was corrupted by Rift and now operates under him; Kane says that she is still under Rift’s control
 Alexander solemnly nods and leaves

Revolution
 Rift’s forces have split in two, those who follow the New Ways and those who follow the Old Ways; Adria has been campaigning among Rift’s forces preaching about the redundancy of the Old Ways; she has convinced about half of Rift’s forces to join her
 She gathers most of her forces and attacks her older sibling’s bases and camps; a war breaks out among them but it comes to a deadlock; Cao suddenly withdraws from the war. (NOTE: These entire last two bullet points happen over eight months; this is a point for us to get in some battles)

Assassination
 Alexander is walking along a country path thinking aobut his lost daughter when Cao slowly materializes in front of him; Alexander becomes defensive and draws his sword (I’ll provide the dialogue for their encounter – will probably change)
C: Put away thy sword, Nicholai. I come in peace.
A: What do you want Cao?
C: I have a proposition to make to you. You have undoubtedly heard of the recent troubles we’ve been having?
A: Yes…
C: Adria is causing it. So I have an opportunity to make to you. I’ll open up a portal to Hell-Limbo and allow you to kill Adria, then I’ll let you leave. No complications. You’ll accomplish my aims of killing Adria and help yourself by destroying one of Rift’s commanders. How about it.
A: (thinks for a few moments) I agree…I guess.
C: Excellent. (end dialogue)
 Cao opens a portal to Hell-Limbo and the both enter. Alexander wears a cloak and hides his wings. Cao leaves him and Alexander begins to walk towards Adria’s palace.
 He encounters Morgana (Grand Maiden of Sin) and she recognizes him; they chat but alexander talks nervously; he asks to be taken to Adria’s palace and Morgana agrees
 Alexander enters and quickly drops his cloak and reveals his wings to startled guards; he easily slaughters them and runs to Adria’s chambers
 Adria is surprised at the sudden attack and engages Alexander in combat; he kills her and then a portal opens up and Alexander quickly enters into it

Aftermath
 Back in the physical realm, Cao watches in secret as alexander leaves the portal and begins the trip to Heaven; he turns around to see Kane in front of him
 Kane starts off a conversation with a remark about how holy of a man Alexander and then states that Cao will one day fall to him in battle; before Cao can ask any questions, Kane disappears

Corruption
 Alexander goes to heaven to find it in the midst of a battle against some bat winged angels; he quickly unsheaths his sword and involves himself in combat
 After a large amount of fighting, Alexander finds the source of the trouble; he comes face to face with his daughter, Alexis Nikki (the Maiden of Corruption)
 She had corrupted Archangel Bishop who had in turn corrupted his many followers; alexis disappears and leaves Alexander to fight Bishop
 They fight briefly and Bishop stabs Alexander in the side; Alexander falls and Bishop is aobut to administer the finishing blow when Hector Powels (a gargoyle) intervenes and battles Bishop
 Hector kills Bishop and helps Alexander to his feet; Hector bindsthe wound and goes outside to help finish the fight against the fallen angels, but Anubis has everything under control: all the fallen angels are dead
 Alexander’s wound is treated and bandaged by Karyn (an angel who has a slight crush on the Meta-Paladin) and she lays him to bed

Plan
 After Adria’s death, everything calmed down and all her minions were brutally executed; Rift knows it was Alexander who had killed her but doesn’t know Cao had helped him
 Rift comes up with a plan to rid himself of Alexander forever the plan is a follows: Alexander would lose his holiness if he wasn’t a Paladin. Paladins are Angels who are knights. An Angel is an angel because of its wings; therefore, if Alexander lost his wings, he would cease to be an angel and therefore cease to be the Meta-Paladin. If he wasn’t Meta-Paladin, he couldn’t fight for heaven anymore.
 Rift entrusted Cao to rip off Alexander’s wings while he slept and Cao knew his upcoming effort would be his predicted death; knowing this he complies
 In heaven, while Alexander sleeps, Kane warns him of the plan in his dreams

Battle
 That same night, Cao sneaks up on Alexander, who awakens suddenly and grabs his sword
 They talk to each other and Cao informs Alexander he will win the fight and kill him but Alexander will not win easily
 They fight viciously, and even though Alexander is weakened, he kills Cao. Cao says some parting words and dies
End Act 1

Act 2

Persecution
 Alexander is hailed as a hero for killing Rift’s firstborn in combat and in Hell-Limbo, Rift’s forces mourn for the loss of their commander
 A few months pass without fighting between Heaven and Rift, but a new faction in heaven arises: the Pacifangels.
 The Pacifangels are a group of angels led by a pacifist angel named Jessica; these angels believe that figthing is not necessary and that what is considered ‘evil’ is really misunderstanding.
 This train of though becoems very popular and soon 2/3 of the angel population believes in it. They become very powerful and put a certain individual on trial: Alexander Nicholai
 They believe he ‘thinks with his sword’ and is the root of the current war between heaven and Rift. They persecute him and and sway towards execution. They also persecute Anubis’ Army, the defenders of Heaven.
 During Alexander’s trial, a cloud of smoke enters the room and Alexander disappears amidst the chaos. Shortly afterwards, Anubis’ Army disappears.

Massacre
 The Pacifangels open the gates to heaven and invite Rift to join them to talk of a compromise. Rift agrees and summons his commanders to join him.
 As they approach the gates of Heaven, Rift’s army appears and under his command, invade heaven and slaughter every single Pacifangel, including Jessica.

Heroes
 While Rift settles down in his new throne in Heaven, Anubis’ army reappears and battles Rift’s forces. After many long a perilous fights, Rift is defeated and pushed out of Heaven. Alexander had organised the army to fight Rift and asked for the Goddess forgiveness. She grants it to him.
 Several notable things happened during the battles in Heaven: Lunar, the Cerberus and one of Alexander’s close friends, died in a fight with Crownas. Crownas himself had killed Lunar. Kane had involved himself in the fighting. Alexander had killed Morgana
End Act 2 (Adam, I apologise for Act 2’s shortness, but it’s really not that short. The battles in heaven are a big chunk of the act and I think you can extend this act a lot.)

Act 3

Physical Realm
 Rift tires of fighting in the Spiritual Realms and decides to invade the Physical Realms in an attempt to bring Alexander out. He takes his remaining commanders (Crownos, Alexis, and Zerrus) and troops and invades the Physical Realm
 Anubis takes his army and fights Rift in the physical realm. Several things occur: Rift kills Fragder, Anubis’ second-in-command and best friend, as soon as the fighting starts. Hector kills Crownas. Kane involves himself in fighting and nearly kills Zerrus. Alexis slaughters Karyn.
 Both forces decimated, Rift and Anubis take the remains of their armies and engage in one final battle.
 Alexander faces off against Rift when his daughter intervenes. He refuses to fight her but she keeps attacking him. In reflex, he sticks out his sword and she impales herself (accidentally) on it. Alexander is horrified (he loved his daughter more than anything)
 He turns on Rift for corrupting her and they fight. After a huge battle, Rift dies and Alexander prepares to kill himself when Kane stops him and says:
 “Not yet, noble Paladin. For you still have great things to do before your death. You will die a glorious death in battle. That, and that alone, I can tell you. For evil still rages in this Realm, and with the Boltonic Knights dead, you msut protect it. It is darkest before the light, and this is one of your finest hours. You will have several more to come before you die, but when you do, you will rest in peace.”

End Act 3 (I again apologize, Adam, for Act 3’s apparent shortness. War is once again a theme in this act and limits what I can write. I trust you can lengthen this act quite a bit.)

I'm was going to do cinematics, but I think I'll do the site, team gathering and some movies. I am making the first mission and will place it up for download this weekend so everyone can get a taste of it. :infth:

I have no desire to delay the creation or discontinue the campaign; I'm one devoted person

I'm getting an impression that this campaign seems to be unpopular at the moment, so I am working to try to get the first mission out. The story being put into the game will take much work, and I may allow anyone that can do one of the things above to simply post to get on the team.

I need hardworking individuals such as myself however. By the way, please stay tuned, I'm going to try to get the first mission out tonight or by tomorrow.

I plan to go all the way and finish this campaign unlike so,e others who didn't understand the conciquences. :(

I can make decent skins, can handle fairly complex triggers, can create custom in-game borders (human, undead, ne, etc.)

I am a little curious, do you want us to send you these "Make arthas with dark hair, etc." for the campaign, or as a tryout?

Ok, I know it's past the weekend, and I haven't released the first mission like I said I would, but I was distracted heavily by Christmas :( . However, I promise to get it out by this weekend. :gsmile:

And with the Black-Haired Arthas, Im plan to use him in the campaign. And I forgot to tell ask if you could add small angel-like wings to him, if possible.
