As I told you before; use DC++ and download it. Otherwise give me your Yahoo Messenger account (if you do not have one, make one) and I will transfer it to you. |

I don't remember you ever telling me about any DC++ and what is DC++? Also i just upgraded to 3DS Max 7.0 |

Do not upgrade, downgrade. Only 4.0 and 5.0 work with Warcraft III properly. http://www.wc3campaigns.com/thread_view.php?t=77538 Quote:

I've searched bit torrent for version 4 or 5 with no luck. I found some tools for version 7 but i have models that i want to export but they turn up with errors but other models that we're warcraft 3 models that i import into 3DS max 7 will export out of 3DS max just fine. If you want I'll send you my model and you can take i look at it. |

The problem is that 3dsMax 7 has many features no supported in Warcraft III. Using Dex is very unreliable. The only way to model for Warcraft III sucessfully is 3dsMax 5. |

I have tools that i use that can't be used in version 4 or 5. Besides I can't get 4 or 5. I've search all over bit torrent. |

The tools you refer to are very unstable and rarely produce the correct effect desired. The Art Tools always work perfectly for exporting, as long as you follow the directions included. My suggestion is talk around your school or workplace, there is bound to be someone with a copy of Max5. |

I've already tried that. no one i know has 3ds 4 or 5. My tools that don't work in version 4 or 5 are for importing a certain model type (not warcraft models) |

That does not matter, because you can import to Max7, then export the imported file as .3DS then import it back into Max5. You need Max5 to model for Warcraft, period. |

Well I've searched all over bit torrent for 3ds max 5 and didn't find it. |

That is because of Discreet's protection system. It makes cracking 3dsMax more difficult than normal. Honestly, the best way is to find someone at work. Thats how I got mine. However, DC++ has plenty of them, you just have to make sure to download all the parts. Google DC++ and download it. Its a simple program to use. |

I've tried the search engine on DC++ and nothing on 3DS turned up. |
