sweet... if i try and open a map and i get -Level Info data missing or invalid. what do i do..? yes i am opening file with WEU and yes it does have advanced triggers and color codes. |

Warcraft III was recently upgraded to version 1.20; the WEU currently does not support this patch. You simply have to wait until a patch for the WEU is created. |

is it out? |

No. It will not be coming out either. You will need to solve your problem with modifying some files with WinMPQ if no other solution presents itself. Are you sure you have version 1.20 installed on your computer? Are you sure you did not 'protect' the map? |

The WEU still works of course. The problem is somwe of the 'advanced triggers' and limit removal sections have become obsolete. As such if you use one of them it very well may cause a crash. |

so every what you're saying is that unless someone makes a new WEU for each and every patch maps will become unable to complete? |

Actually, I'm using WEU with the new patch and it works fine. So maybe you're just not opening it through WEU but the regular WE instead? |

Like I said, only certain functions have become obsolete. |

maybe we should make a list of obsolete crash-causing triggers (in the absense of a new version, its all we can hope for.) |

still having problems. starfreak helped me out once and somehow restored my map. how can i get it back and running. i have installed both WEU 1.20 and the patch 1.20 but i can't open my map i get the same message ![]() |
| 03-01-2006, 01:02 AM | #13 |
The message has nothing to do with trigger data that message appears when there is a corrupted war3map.w3i. - If it is not your map then it was optimized using the 'remove as much WE only data as possible' option. - If it is your map you've been the victim of a sudden map corruption, there is always a chance for that. Most likelly caused by an Editor error when saving the map |

is there any way of fixing it ? |
