The Outbreak

The World\'s leading pharmaceutical company, Umbrella, has incountered a biohazardous outbreak amoungst it\'s hive, via Raccoon City. The company, once known for the reputation of \"looking for a brighter future\" is now bringing a downfall on the world itself. From the vast American lands to the foreign European countries, everything is being infected. Millions run in fear of becoming one of these \"life-less bags of flesh\", as one civilian put it.

S.T.A.R.S(search tactics and rescue squad)\'s Bravo team was dispatched earlier this month and claimed that there was an Umbrella Conspiracy however, ignorance in the press and the lack of proof made it hard to believe. Now, those who still are alive may read this and assume my death has occured. I wish all of those who have survived this long the best luck and wishes to never give up.

Apon outbreak, amoungst the community of Raccoon City, U.B.C.S(umbrella biohazard counter-measure squad) was dispatched as a cover-up and clean-up crew to get rid of all evidence of this viral B.O.W figures. The virus, that now consumes those of the living, was said to be an advanced form of a virus that was originaly created by James Marcus, one of the head founders of Umbrella corporation. Apparently, the \"pharmaceutical\" company label was just a coverup for experimental bioweaponry. Many assumed it was affliated secretly by the United states government however, later reports infer that the funds were from the \'Ashford\' family, a key family to the company it\'s self.

From what i have gathered through-out the hive lab located under the once bustling streets of Raccoon City, the virus could not be contained because of a leak into small rodants such as rats. After spreading in the streets in a matter of 2 months the city was starting to see full affects of the virus. Groups of these \"mysterious drunken rebells\" were reported in mid-June.

Apon investigation, S.T.A.R.S had all fingers pointing at Umbrella however, popularity gained Umbrella the upper hand and S.T.A.R.S were beginning to be seen as frauds. Apon furter investigation, S.T.A.R.S discovered that the R.P.D(raccoon police department) had spies that worked secretly for Umbrella.
Umbrella then had all S.T.A.R.S members nuetralized, or so they hoped. They assumed S.T.A.R.S would never survive the Raccoon incedent.

Now, you, one of the few remaining S.T.A.R.S Alpha team members seeks to bring the downfall to Umbrella and save the earth from idle hands of the evil conspiration. You are located in a small rural area somewhere in Europe where you must find a way to survive the chaos.


Characters:

Chris Redfield:
Very intellegent, after Captain Wesker\'s death became the Alpha team\'s leader, even though S.T.A.R.S is no longer a \"official\" team. Experienced first hand what Umbrella was capable of.

Claire Redfield:
Sister of Chris, looks up to her brother in command and in the \"right decisions\". Very young however, very skilled.. Felt the affects of Raccoon\'s demise.

Jill Valentine:
Very outgoing, has been partners with chris for the past 5 years. Fights for the good and innocence in people.

Leon Kennedy:
Rookie cop, known as a \"sharp-shooter\" for his vast skills in weaponry. Incountered the Raccoon Demise along Claire\'s side.

Barry Burton:
Chris Redfield\'s old friend and partner. Former SWAT team member, Barry maintains and supplies weapons for all S.T.A.R.S. members. With over 16 years of experience, he has lead many projects to success. Barry always seems to show up at just the right times to save Jill\'s butt during the game, and reigns supreme as the champion of the cheesy lines.

Rebecca Chambers:
The youngest member of the group, Rebecca has been recruited for her knowledge of field medicine and first aid. She is nervous around other members, both because of her age (18) and her lack of experience. Rebecca is eager to please and will act on any task assigned to her without hesitation. Originaly from Bravo Team.


Gameplay:
The gameplay will variate from a quest rpg to a survivor rpg to a survivor defense. You will start in sort of a \'jungle\' terrain and slowly come across mysterious items and you will incounter the \"dead\" for the first time very quickly in the map. Together with your team you must solve clues and survive.


What i\'m looking for:
I\'m looking for a very skilled trigger\'er (all variations of triggering, AIs, JASS, to standards).
A good modeler
And an assistant on terrain.

I will be assisting terrain, and i will be directing the map along with complete storyline. Every1 who participates in this map will recieve full credit for there line of work at the very beginning of the maps initial introduction. This is the first two a trilogy so be prepared to work on two more maps that fallow the same storyline.

I think your project looks very well thought-out, with a solid storyline (although isn't that just the RE storyline?). Unfortunately I'm not your man, because I don't fit any of your occupations. But I thought I'd at least give you credit for writing such a long post :p

Biohazard is the official japanese name for Resident Evil. I'm as you can see a very knowledged fan along the lines of the capcom game series.
