It's ok. You really need to make it so your normal trees are different sizes, i mean, no forests have all the trees exactly the same size. Better yet, dl some custom trees. Also add some fog.

The fence is extremely redundant, add some variation. The supports for the bridges need to be redone, the stretched texture looks very poor. Other than that, like PlasticAngel said, add fog.

Well if you're just looking for opinions...
FREAKING AMAZING FOR A FIRST MAJOR PROJECT!!
I do agree though with the tree thing, not so much though with the fence thing i think it keeps with the woodsy feeling well i guess it is more of a wall (you know the thing that kinda looks like a palisade fence), unless he means the Fence with the captains and the horses, that looks kind of out of place for a forest where the monsters are probably big enough to just walk over the thing. Anyways, as I was saying, if this is just your first project, I look forward to whats to come. Keep up the good work

O one more thing.. im sorry i didnt get this on my first post (is there a way to edit your posts), but did you make it so that you could walk apon that long wooden tree bridge thing?

Tim.
On each post you make, to the left of the 'Quote' box on the far right is an 'Edit' button. Use that to edit posts in the future.

Definatly a spot on first project attempt

the first shot definatly gave a sense of depth and hieght although next time try varieng the trees o a mass scale..some as tall as the bridge..some half the size so you can see lots of rises n dips in your dense forested area

other than that good job keep experimenting...

(yes im back..sorta)

Might I be the first to load the clip into the .9? How is that OK? When I saw it, I almost shit my pants! It is amazing! Everything is scaled, the doodads are placed perfectly, the usage of height is amazing, and so is the bridge between the big trees! COME ON PEOPLE! 5/5!
