Well I'm tring to make a FPS (first person shooter) and I'm going to need filters to simulate the gun's appearance. So here are some questions: 1) Can I use back-to-back filters to simulate an "animation" of when the gun is fired? What I mean is creating one filter to display the gun, when the gun is fired the first filter is hidden/destroyed and a new one is shown of the gun in a different state of animation and after about a fifth of a second it is hidden/destroyed and the first filter is re-applied. 2) How can I display filters to only one player? 3) I read around here that single-player filters can cause server splits in online games, can someone elaborate on this? Thanks, pappi.chullo |

1) Sure you can. It won't look too good with only 2 animation frames, but what the heck... 2) See 3). 3) Everything is explained in the thread you mentioned. |
