Is any way of recording what is displayed on screen? like if I made a cinematic map, could I play it and have it record externally, and view it later on something like Media Player/Save it as a movie file? s there any applications/software for this? I don't want to set up a video camara to record my screen, so is there a way to record it ON the comp, like a screenshot for video? |

Yes, there is a program named 'Fraps' that will do this for you. The only issue is the output is very large. This is easilly compressed using DivX or the 'Windows Movie Maker' (Comes for free with XP) The only problem with the free trial of Fraps is it places thier name along the top of the video, and cna only last 15 seconds. Either buy it or "borrow a friend's copy." |
