I dont know if anyone remembers me, i used to hang out here as 'Anarki'... "Way back when". Well, i needed another project so i decided to get the old warcraft 3 CDs out and dust them off, and mess around in the world editor :) I then realized that alot of stuff had happened while i was away from the warcraft 3 scene, like the dissapearance of the JASS Vault, although i understand it has been merged into wc3sear.ch? Anyways, i've got my own webserver, and decided it couldnt hurt to put up a wiki for JASS documentation as i found the MediaWiki software seems to work good for code documentation for one of my other projects. :) The wiki is located at http://jass.game-advance.net/ and it would be awesome if people could add to it. :) It doesnt cost me anything to run this, its purely a donation to the (few?) remaining JASS scripters. Also, i've forgotten alot of the JASS i used to know :) |

No no no... the JASS Wiki is a site for documentation of JASS code. Its not a project itself. :) Right now, there's nothing documented yet, but thats part of the Wiki system is anyone can create or edit pages. Over the next few days i'll try and document some of the simpler functions which I know, but others might have to add some of the more complex things. Think of the JASS Wiki as a compiled, organized, help center for anyone using JASS. |

jassvault is still a forum. the idea behind the JASS wiki is to document each of the built in functions with usage examples, which although possible with a forum, becomes much easier to organize within a wiki due to the categorizing and internal linking that is present in the wiki software. |
