The map im currently making, which i just started on recently is driving me insane all ready. Ive made a hero selection system in a new style, well to me anyway. Basically you start off with 1 Unit: Soul of heroes And he has 5 abilitys, these abilitys are all based on immolotion for trigger purposes so when you click one a trigger initilises... He can be either: Warrior Class Master, Healer Class Master, Mage Class Master, etc. Once you click on the desired class master you wish to be, you then turn into tha class master, who has abilitys to turn into a more specific hero. E.g If i chose a Mage Class Master, id then have the ability to choose from Ice mage, fire mage and shadow mage. These are all triggered, and all based on the immolotion ability (unit) WHAT HAPPENS... Well lets say i click on ANY class master ability, it turns me into the warrior class master, and no mater what ability i click on the new unit, i turn into a paladin. -.- Theres nothing wrong with the triggers, im sure of it, maybe its the fact i used teh same ability? Ive uploaded a REALY cut down / downsized version of the map, ive resised it deleted all the custom crap so it shouldnt take long to load up and well its easier to id the problem that way :) Download Here |

Yea if you use 2 or more custom abilities based off the same base ability(immolation in this case), then only 1 of them fires no matter which one you cast. Try using channel, it allows you to change the spell ID so you can have multiple channels on one unit. And it allows you to have whatever target you want(unit, point, no target), and many other things perfect for triggered spells =P. nah thanks anyway, i guess ill just do my alternative system. Use buildings and upgrades instead ------- Haha cool the new system works so much smoother, simple and sweet, dont think many have used this. Prolly have but hey :) |

Avoid using channel it is lame and overrated. And your signature is way too big and you shouldn't post twice. Your signature takes the half of my screen and I am using 1280 × 1024 |

ive used a different system now, my back up hero selection system, same idea, but instead of abilitys i use upgrades. always have a backup ![]() |
