I think you would get better results if you add abilities to the hero then increase their levels using a special menu. Now if you want to use the hero skills button directly then that's impossible |

![]() Here is a picture that allow hero to learn 7 abilities. I dont think it is emulated by spellbook. |

Id like to know that to, to be perfectly honest. More abilitys, more intrest. I dont know how youd do it through a spell book as you cant choose next level through that, might be wrong. Dont have we open :( |

Heroes can have up to 6 abilities actively usable on them at any given time, and an unlimited number if you use spellbooks. If you trigger spells you can make it so you can "fake" leveling up spells in the book through triggers... other than that a spellbook can't relaly level up. |

Maybe in some really difficult way you could make them items with charges instead of importing blps. Cant think of a way to do that now though. |

its most likley a shop-type unit with buyable units, the cancel button is an ability that re-selects the hero. |

I think he's saying that the hero doesn't actually have any learnable spells, but that he has a dummy ability that looks like the +skill button and has the same tooltip and all. Then, when that fake +skill button is 'cast', a shop is selected for the player(but the shop is hidden so you can't select it by hand), and then they have another fake cancel button. So when the cancel button is 'cast', they then select the hero again. |
