Has anyone else encountered this, or something like it? It DOES exist, one of my friends used it in their contest entry, and got some really good effects. Thing is, when I look at the models he used, I can't see anything. They ARE the right models, I remade the triggers to see exactly what the effect was, but they don't show anything in model editing programs... |

well.. its actually quite easy and fun :) I made a daynightmodel creator program, u can have it if you want, ill put it on www.clanwenw.tk 2day. Adn well.. as the name might not suggest.. it takes 2 models, but not for day and night, it takes models to light the terrain, and the doodads/units. The day to night is animated in the models, but I've not looked into that. My program can only create static models that will remain the same troughout the gametime. so.. what u do, u turn the made .mdl to .mdx using yobguls, or anything else. then u import and use setdaynightmodels :) hf |

In fact it was your very cinematic I saw it in! :-D Thanks dude. That lighting was AWESOME. Especially the Starfall bit. How did you do that? It didn't SEEM to be done with day/night changing... EDIT: Actually, can you explain your program a little more? What do the Attenuation values do, for example? |
