Cinematic Contest Entry: Waves of Blood

As many of you "may" remember, Blizzard Entertainment (along with their new Mod Support site at www.battle.net) held a Cinematic Contest in which only 18 people participated.

I of course entered this contest with my entry Waves of Blood which was placed 3rd.

Here is the scoring Blizzard gave it:

Note when viewing this cinematic (although already mentioned in the description): There is a small bug that "may" be directly related to the Wc3world Editor and computer lag which will cause the cinematic's music to improperly play and can cause it to be out of 'synch'. Enjoy :P

Nice to see you got your project hosted here, nice job.

Good job on this contest cinematic like I said when I was beta testing it, 3rd place is nice place.

Your cinematic was nice, great voice actor, and the camera was very smooth. Can't beleive it didn't make second..

oww well TGN is not an easy opponent and neither is Infrane the belong among the best.

In my opinion, your cinematic surpassed all the other entries in atmosphere. When it came to the fight, however, it started to get unclear (i.e why it all became black when the sirens started casting?) But what left me really disoriented was the abrupt ending. I mean, jump,slash,death,end. I was really expecting at least one more scene, but then it came the campaign menu...

Bingo, 5 mins ftw T_T I still swear Blizzard made the stupidest mistake in their choice of 5mins. With more time I could've easily had more explanation to the original storyline, made the battle a bit longer and then remembered to put in a good long fade at the end xD (Note to self: Next Blizzard Contest, Blizzard is going to be pwned by everyone and then Blizzard will realize that 5mins sucks!)

Yeah player, you deserved a 3rd place overall in that contest, glad I could help ;)
