Do not start that debate here, it has been argued in circles enough already. Map Protection is the right of the author to chose. If they do not want thier concept, method, models, or anything else stolen, abused, and the like; then they can protect thier maps. Map protection does not lower the learning curve on map creation in War3 at this stage because there is more than enough material to learn how to create maps without looking at another person\'s work. Although it is prefered that maps are left unprotected on wc3sear.ch, that does not mean it is wrong to protect.
Lord Vexorian use to have his map optomizer at his personal subdomain: http://vexorian.wc3campaigns.com , however it seems it is no longer there. Look around at http://www.wc3sear.ch it should be there.
