Requesting Voice acting

Ok, here's a few guidelines that you might want to follow when asking for voice actors that might increase your chances of getting someone on board.

People are afraid to voice act for a project that might not be completed, so unless your mod has reached around 90% completion (excluding voice acting, sound effects and music of course) then there really isn't much point requesting people.

The exception to this is if you're planning on releasing a demo map. This is obviously less work for voice actors because they will have to record less dialogue than they would for a full scale mod, but also it reduces the risk of their vocal work not being used. Again, you should not request a composer until the demo has reached around 90% completion.

Multiplayer maps should not be without voice acting in my oppinion, and I encourage mappers to seek out voice actors to add flavour to their maps. Again, it's less work than for a full mod and gives people more of an oppertunity to get their vocal work into playable maps.

I'm going to be updating the layout that people should use when listing themselves as a voice actor to make it easier for you guys to choose people, so you don't need to make posts asking for people who are capable of doing a certain race's voice. I hope this helps you guys.

Thanks for your time
