I was an old member, since roc, since the time when all the tools and mod were not made, before all time i was here :) I have been observing the rise and fall of this forum. I remember it was really a nice forum to start with, where i learned everything about modding wc3, where i spent at least 1 hour everyday posting and reading on this forum, until at some point, this forum start to fall apart, all the mods were leaving, and the others take their place, then suddently after the "big" modification everything fell totally apart, all the galleries, tutorials and links to good tools were gone :( tat was when i quit this forum cus it was just nothing but only crap, at tat time i was hoping for the old good times, the old board based on vb3. I also did quit modding wc3 cus it was too boring, i had no inspiration, no galleries to look at, and i also think tat made many user lost inspiration and quit modding too. From my point of view wc3c has been an inspiration to everyone that's bound to it, until... ye you know when But now, it looks like u guys have got evrything back, and is running completely smooth, i hope this will make me bring my time to you guys again, and give me the inspiration and will to start modding wc3 :) |

Welcome back :) Maybe you could release all your secrets and models if you're going to quit, or forever sit cuddling them with a maniacal giggle. |

I too remember with fondness the old boards, I learned how to mod on them as well and it's true that my appitite for modding deteriorated at the same rate as the old boards, but I'm filled with a new enthusiasm now. I truly think this site could be as great as it once was, there is no reason for it not to be, as long as everyone, staff and members alike, respect what we have here. Raise whatever drink you've got at hand (and if you're lucky like Whitehorn, it's mead) and toast the health of WC3Campaigns. |
