Simply type [thumbnail] to use our thumbnail feature. Edit: Whoops, forgot code tags. Code:
[thumbnail] LINK [/thumbail] |

Looks good. The skin shading is nice, might want to sharpen the hair after you smudged it. Nice texture on the hat but I think the skin texture isn't appropriate and I'm not talkin about the unshaved face. His ears are not at same heights and the background is meh. The thing that bugs me most is the mouth, his lips could be bigger but the whole picture is not bad but I don't remember what you're previous art looked like to say if you improved or not. ^^b edit: Man this edit option is great... but yea thumbnail function on imageshack should work just fine, go in my images and look around, you'll find a tag for a thumbnail version of your picture already with a link in it. |

First of all, stop using smudge to blend colors/cheap effects and using dodge and burn for shading. Dodge and burn are ment for tweaking textures, not painting. Second, the face is out of any normal human proportions. Stop making heads/faces from your immagination for now and start drawing real faces (portraits). And don't even think about making portraits from digital pictures, for you'll surely use eyedropper to pick colors from the real thing and use them in your "study", and that won't help at all. Pick something from real photos/magazines. And don't use such saturated colors, nowhere in real life you'll see such clean and saturated colors. Try to mix as much colors as possible and to use more colored greys. |

everything i would say has been said. besides the fact that you should REALLY resize that picture, it doesnt fit in my browser window thus i cant get a good overvieuw. if you feel the need to show extreme detail post one picture that fits in a browser window, and a larger one. i myself dont find this nescesary, as the overall fieuw is how you read a picture and is far more inportant then details. |
