well i started a project a week ago...this project is a new races project-but more advance then normal...this time you could pick one out of 8 races! but the old races will be deleated the races are: 1-the blood elves (with some demons too) 2-the naga (improved version of the normal naga) 3-the brotherhood (gnolls,wolves,razorman and bronze dragons united to an army) 4-the goblins (with all the cool technology) 5-trolls (yes now they fight for themself and not for the orcs) 6-corrpted night elves (dont you jest wish to play with them?) 7-the dammed (evil man that are even worse then the burning legion!) 8-the elemental lords (they got half of there army taken from outer races! the outer helf is uniqe to them...creating an unpredictable army...) about the project future(and some cool information):
well after i will finish all races and send it to a few beta tests for balancing-when balancing will be done i will make a campaigen to tell how on earth this thing happend (we are still in azroth! so you can understand something went terribly worng...a clue-some of it is the blood elves fault!)also the races will have some uniqe things you havent saw yet like in the brotherhood the mount ability is really common! infact so common that one unit can be mounted by TWO DIFFRENT UNITS! and the dammed had 2 kinds of builers, one for human building and the outer for ...(secret for now-you will be in a shock!)... and the elemental lords have only 4 buildings...each trains two types of units (one builder+fighter and the outer a much stronger fighter) and also work as a defencive building wonna join the project?
right now i need only model makers so if you know how to model-you are invited! |

did you say...... CALL OF DARKNESS ahh i love darkness, sounds interesting without some good triggering i dont think two units can mount the same mount but i never tested this so i might be wrong |

Well if they mount them one at a time (only one unit on animal at a time plz) then that might work if you had to different mount abilites. Although at the same time, the mounted version would have to have an unmount and a mount for the othr player. This can equal up to 4 different mount spells for 2 units!!! Otherwise this all sounds pretty good. Eh, I usually have nothing to do, I'll test the balances on your units. |

i allrdy know how to make two units able to mount the same unit-with only 2 spells and no triggers at all...so its not that bad (i checked it and it works) also i dont need testing right now...but if anyone got a cool idea for a unit for one of the armys i will be glad to hear... |

Seems fine up till the Drow Elves and the last three races there. Overall just seems like you are using generic races, in stead of deciding your own ideas. Creativity wins you fame of mapping, not just pretty models. But the idea of 8 custom empires sounds like fun = p. Just beware, hardest part of any map is always balancing. |

infact the dammed is one of the more creative in there...wait till you will see who will help them...you WILL get a shock! (thats a secret until the first balance test will be released!) also the brotherhood is something uniqe...these races never been more then simple monsters (exsept in ROTD and thats too good to get counted) and the main problem with creative things is that everything is allrdy done! (exsept turtule people but that will be REALLY dumm!) one last thing that is also a big problem-the story takes place in azroth so getting more races is kina complex (the drow are a real problem because they never been at warcraft-but i found a way to get over that) |

well you dont need to create new races or use creeps, just use your imagination and make an already existing race have a different religion or a different type of magic ex:night elves using vodoo magic, orcs worshipping the holy light etc all you need is a good story that tells why forexample the night elves would use vodoo |

i do have a story-for everything that happend in azroth to make it turn to this mod with the 8 races...but for now it is hidden from you... and the sroty will say where all the outer races go (night elves,orcs,tuarans,dwarfs,the undead (both the free and the lich king followers),the fel orcs and gnomes are compleatly gone!) |

this will rack my sory compleatly...the drow are the forth in the importance level in my story (the dammed, the blood elves and the brotherhood are more importent-but not in much) if you got an idea for something that can replace them that is pure evil and mean i might take it insted...but high elves and blood elves are way too close...and i amcompleatly out of ideas that can replace the drow (i got reasons not to use the undead) |

The brotherhoord just seems like a bunch of random creeps together. BRONZE dragons together with gnolls? I dont think thats very likeable. |
