Warhammer Beastman

This is not made for warcraft 3, but it would work well in warcraft also.. It's a warhammer beastman, a gor. The texture needs some teaking (like fix some fur on his abs). Also, the face texture sucks ass, but I'll probably fix it.

Polycount: 497

EDIT: added a wire pic

EDIT2: added a bad pic from behind...

Tim.
Pretty nice, however I suggest you use 'MeshSmooth' on the arms, they look a tad boxy.

nice, but the model looks to square, and the skin could use more details.

Yeah, I forgot to say, I haven't added any smoothing at all on that render. I'll post another pic later with smoothing and maybe one with wireframe..

oh, and olof, I'll tell you, it's not square at all, it's because of no smoothing it looks so :) You're right about the skin though..

you put too much detail into the weapon and not enough detail into the body, I suggest making the weapon simpler and buffing up the body, it's okay to go above 500 polies, make it look good :P

Thanks for the tips, but I think I'll leave the model as it is. (too lazy to reunwrap stuff :P) I'm gonna beef up the skin though (it wasen't finished anyway)

Weapon looks fine to me, as with poly distribution. Good job.

Yeah, it's much better than those wimpy satyrs from Warcraft III!

it's no satyr...... :P but thanks anyway

I never said that it is a Satyr. You should submit it as it is. I luv it!

Though as I said, it's not for wc3, but could surely work for wc3. It's for a rome total war modification, named warhammer total war. Also, I'm too lazy to animate it...... :-\

I could give it some "quick" animations. I'll just find an existing Wc3 model and transfer it's animations to the Beastman. (If you want of course.)

Sorry, I know I'm late :P Anway, well, sure that would be nice. Do you have max 5? I've never bothered to learn the art tools, so I can't export to mdx. Also, I just remembered, my mod team will ban me forever if I release it, so no

Dio, Using oinker winkles anim transfer wont work -_-, he'd have to rename all the bones..and there r like around 20-30...and it would b...well better custom animing.
