ENiGMA II

Project Enigma has been a recurring project that takes inspirations from various Science Fiction universes. It is a reincarnation of an old 'Play-by-eMail' / 'Paper and Pen' (whatever suits your dictionary) game that I developed with my brother.

Enigma, for want of a better name, is set in a futuristic setting, beyond Earth but still incorporating it. Terra, as it is now referred, was origin to the sentient species we all know to be humans, Terrans.

The Terran houses are few and far between. A misunderstanding in ages past with a mysterious alien spiecies, the Psione, erupted into a galactic conflict that has ruined a hundred worlds.

The 'Project' follows just one small campaign within a vast universe.

I hope to finally realise Enigma as a Warcraft III mod. A simple, effective demo campaign is being produced to introduce my ideas, concepts and graphics. Suggestions and advice is always welcomed, but ultimately Project Enigma is my mission.

Below are some images from previous attempts. Those selected are most likely to be used or adapted for ENiGMA II.

That gun need detail, otherwise, awesome, and how did you get the foundation to work? is it based of blight or something?

Most of the graphics are incomplete.

The slabs were dine with blight and pathing options. Not sure if I want to keep that right now.

I'm building a tutorial campaign a mission at a time to introduce gameplay, concepts and units. From there I hope to delve more into the wider world - new units, tilesets, features, etc. I don't want to plan to far ahead right now. I want something achievable and consistant.

A WIP vehicle - likely the mineral gatherer. I predict it will look very different in a few hours :)

Awesome, are you finished it? it looks like thats all it needs, and if you keep your model sizes down its better, but you know that.

It's almost done. I need to add team colour and some colour alteration so it doesn't look terrible ingame :P
