I didn't finished this model cause it was high poly. 1446 polys without cape and lightsabers!!, that's too much for me. I wanted to do a new version of my Grievous model but it ended too high poly, I will do a new grievous later, but enjoy watching this High poly grievous!! |

There's a lot of wasted polys there that could be removed easily =) The head is pretty good though I must say. |

Doesn't look bad, but I think we need some images at different angles, its very hard to tell. |

I would say you should finish it, he's a hero-class unit anyway. And yes, it is quite messy, I'd suggest cutting down the fingers down, you could use an alphaed plane to get the same effect. If you can clean it up you can probably finish this with a reasonable poly count. |

Humm... I don't think a plane could do the work, But yeah, I will remove the armor and use skinning there. I said I will do it, but when I manage to reduce the poly count at least a bit. Here's another angle as you wanted. |

Yes indeed, far too many polys. If you ever decide to finish it and want help cutting down, you know how to reach me. |

I wanna see the wireframes as well, it's kinda hard to see how many polies are wasted with the smooth surface. |

ANTOHER GRIEVOUS!?!?!? again? you already made two... anyway... looks nice, but indeed too many polys and the proportions and details aren't right. and btw, RDZ and me are also stil working on a new grievous. But I was also planning to remake the mesh from scratch... |

A plane with... 3 segments could work for fingers, so they can bend around the lightsabers. And yes, I'd like to see a wireframe, it's hard to see all the details. |

Olof: I made this whole mesh from scratch, that's the reason is so high poly I wanted to do a perfect grievous, and now that you said you and RDz areworking on a new grievous I will do this!Metal_Sonic: Well, just a plane would look weird if you see it from a side, so I will use a box I think. Uber: ok, see the wireframes, you will notice that many poly's are being wasted I got to reduce in the head mainly I think. I have reduced poly's on the "ears". |

Those hands and the head are the real issues. You can remove the 'mouth' detail and just use a well-shaded texture there instead. The 'ears' of course are better this way, they can be easily textured. The head shape might be able to be optomized more. |

I believe the arms can be replaced by 3 sided cylinders, or perhaps 5 instead if you want to reduce more. |
