Terraining skill

ok, i have seen many terrains around and few of them are good, the reason is maybe because people don't "really" know how a terrain should be, maybe thay will say that their terrain are as they want, but i think that a work was made for others to judge not yourself.
Therefore i just came with a nice idea, is to challenge everyong to make a good looking terrain based from a real picture, i found a nice picture here which will be the first challenge, good luck and enjoy :)

Does it have to follow just the composition, or are we doomed to use those dull Lordaeron grass tiles? ie, can I do a variant of this - such as winter or autumn?

Very early stages here, but just a shot of what I'm working on. Need to figure out how to import the new tree models i downloaded so i can get rid of the bliz trees. Not too sure what's going on with my sky...

What is going on with your sky is the fact that you scroll out to much (zoomed out)
