Maybe, if you post your model file here I might be able to help you. It's simple, it is a geoset visibility blablabla issue :P Though I think he explained it rather well in the tutorial but post it and I will look at it.

Tim.
Yes, this is explained all over the place. You should not be looking for visible bones, but for visable geosets.

Just steal the geosetanim for the bone geoset in the model you anim transferred from. Find which one that is by working out the GeosetId in Vertex Modifier or Model Editor and then searching through the geosetanims.

well since i dont really get how to get rid of the bones i tried a different strategy. try and find when the bones start to appear. so i remade him, gave him all the parts and then, i found when i transfered the animations the bones appeared. any idea how to transfer animations withouth the bones appearing?

EDIT:that didnt work and i tried doing it in the mdl and now im just even more confused and angry.>:((( someone give me their email:)

Why not just delete the bones and forget about it until you understand the MDL? If you're faffing around this much you should probably try geomerging a bit first to get to know your way around.

well ill take your advice and just delete the bones for now, but i have geomerged a lot and it doesnt help to geomerge more because i just use oinkerwinkle's tools which dont get me aquainted with editing the mdl in notepad or whatever.

Start doing it manually, then. Try more and more zany MDL schemes, like adding moving textures and turning things to ghosts. Then start scratch-modelling in Milkshape. Finalising models from Milkshape is where I learnt a good amount of stuff.

Hmph. Search for kdub's exporter, then learn the hard way. If you want to be a successful MDL editor, that's the best advice I can give - do *everything* the hard way.
