Nice, it reminds me of Feralas from World of Warcraft.

And that isn't a cabin, Joey, it is clearly a gazebo or perhaps a hut.

i was going to create a tree village populated with woodsmen for this, the hut was the first and only building ive made so far. the models i used were just too inflexable for creating circular buildings. but i think that some new models have been released since, that could be used much more effectivly.

the grass model (animated) was created by reinless, i dont think its been released to the public yet, so ill post it here

i wanted to finish it, but all those angles gave me a headache. so i added the black cubes in the window to stop anyone seeing through to the half constructed inside. but im intreagued, how did you figure it out?

this is one of the best terrain i have ever seen..and wtf the cabin aint outa place... -_-... but my only problem is the 'world tree' model ruined the nice fall colors and added a color that was totaly off

the world tree model has some tinting, but removing all the red from it made it look too dark IMO. from a distance the fog removes some of the contrast, but when viewed from close, as you said, it looks out of place. personaly, ive grown quite tired of the same redwood like model, but ive never seen a better tree to replace it with

i quickly changed a few of the coulers for the world tree. im not sure if i prefer this version or not. opinions?

[edit]uploaded the wrong pic, and it appears that images cant be added or removed by editing a post. what was so wrong with the old editing system that it had to be replaced with this?

Believe it or not, green is not the only color that appears in forests.
