I am having a noob day. I went through it's .j files and can't find any custom triggers which perform the auto attack functions for it's cannons, rifle team, etc. I reason that it is entirely based on an existing spell and the closest match I have is the Permenant Immolation item. The question is : What is the base spell used by Battleship for its attack items. |

I believe that is it too, as I was looking for one with a base projectile art. Battleships have some cannons that are multi-shot and I reason that sked uses triggers to manually add the additional copies of spells for the effect. However, I wonder how a unit with many copies of a base spell with different cooldowns work. I had some problems with multiple base spells before but they were for active spells, not passive ones. |

Actually, Sked's Battleships don't have any multi-shot weapons. They were added later, and they should be possible to make just by editing the phoenix fire. Obviously, multiple same phoenix fire abilities work simultaneously, otherwise you couldn't stack weapons in BS. Of course, you can't assign two instances of the same ability to a unit, so, you must use items if you want to stack them. Edit: why go through the map's .j files, just open it up in the editor. Version 3.0 is open source. |

You can add several instances of the same phoenix fire ability to an item; works perfectly. |
