Avoid to rely on color tags It might seem cool in the style you are using but it might suck in other styles, avoid to use them. The only exception would be a tutorial where you want to show color codes, although we have enough of them already. 0 external images We don't want to rely on other sites and the least thing we want is to leech their bandwidth, attach the images to the post instead. Tools Beware with including tools attached to your post unless you have permission from the author. Always try to link to the official download location (uploaded by the author itself) Or at wc3campaigns' tools section whenever it is possible. We will try to edit links to tools as much as it is possible. Formatting For the record if you need preformated text use [code tags, if you are pasting a JASS script use [jass tags, and let me repeat the rule about [color tags. Other - Use a clear and specific title for your tutorial. - Please use clear english in tutorials. I know that it is not possible some times, but as long as it is understandable it will work. You can try an online spell corrector. - The text of the tutorial should forcefully be in the post. We won't accept attached .doc / html documents, nor images that have all the contents of the tutorial. This ensures understandable tutotial text and that the tutorial might be found by search engines like our internal one or google's. |
