My 1st map: Click Defense

Hi everyone, new here :)

This is my new map:
SmileyJeff's Click Defense
- Click on the enemy unit to kill it
- There are 10 levels
- Don't let the monster get in to the portal
- Lvl 5 and Lvl 8 will upgrade your click damage
- Starting click damage is 20 per click
- For 1 to 2 players (Vs mode if 2)
- You have 15 lifes
- Special Effect when clicked
- Simple & fast game

Try to pass all 10 levels, i won't say my map is good since this is my 1st map. The main purpose i made this map is to play with my sis when we are bored.

It's a great idea. But this map needs work.

Terrain looks much like "Castle Defense" map a few years back... I believe it was Katanna who made it. Same clicking concept too except:
- Too much clicking
- Much too linear

1 Level of clicking evenly spread out units moving in a straight line at a constant speed towards the right of your screen is fine.
2 Levels is fine.
15 Levels isn't.
The whole concept of clicking to do damage is fine and dandy, I've worked with that idea a bit, I think it's really cool that you come up with that idea on your first map too. If it's meant to be a fast game, you should make everything feel faster. For starters, you could change the hit points so much less clicking is required, and make movement speeds much faster to balance that out, as well as making the enemies come from different locations. If you're afraid that the change will make players abuse box-selection, then use right clicking instead. It also gets rid of the occasional small green boxes from spamming and box selecting sometimes.

What I really like though, is that your post is short and informative enough, and it's really good to see people starting out and trying things different.

Thanks for giving me feedbacks. I am still looking at the dialog tutorial, learning how to make one. So that players can choose from either easy, normal or hard. Whereas easy will have a higher damage for a start with much more life and normal will be the game play now, and hard will have the same damage but lesser life.
I will try to improve the map if i can. Maybe for more players and some new pathing. Units movement will be set following the difficulty.

Wow, i found a much better map spotted by Blizzard, its also a click defense!
