I finally finished a simple mod of waugriffs curseoftime rpg in which I gave all the heroes Stat based abilities so that they are no longer useless at higher levels. Added 50 damage armor and life upgrades to nations (limited to half your hero level) for the same reason. and summons are level based. As for balancing the actual creeps in the map, i'm much too lazy for that. anyway. was my favorite rpg back in its day. And I'm hoping to keep it so. Anyone who wants to try it out. Go to www.beelzebub.se Its not on the site at the moment but i'll get it to beelzebub to protect and put up as soon as possible. It'll be version 4.0 So I'm probably done with the map for the most part, as I'm not that great at map editing and it typically takes me forever to do anything more than simple perks and bug fixes. |

- How comes no custom spells? - Some spells the descriptions havent even been changed, e.g. the Jaina hero has Reincarnation but the description is still "will bring the Tauren chief..." - There doesnt seem to be any storyline, just pick a hero and click attack command to middle and just kill the odd creep on the way? Maybe I just picked the wrong heroes? Or missed something Oh and are you the creator, or you just suggesting it as a map tob e played? |

There's tons of custom spells they just happen to be normal spells with different graphics and such. Maybe when i get better at mapmaking i might make some truly custom spells, but for now i'll settle for them being stat based. I fixed all the tooltips and they should be all set when the next version comes out. Hopefully it will be out by tomorrow I all ready gave it to beelzebub to widgetize, protect, and put up on the site. As for storyline. There really isn't any. though there are quests you can get in town. It's an open rpg without any real plot. like juliens or legends. No I'm not the creator I just edited it, seeing as the creator retired from mapmaking about a year ago. |
