#dev - IRC channel for warcraft 3 mappers

This is just a shoutout to everyone to bring attention to the #wc3dev channel on irc.wc3campaigns.com. It's been revitalized, there are now more "pros" which hang out there and can (usually) give help to people with mapping questions. Help is given for anything warcraft 3 related, as long as a person in the channel is present who is willing to help and knows the subject.

Channel: #wc3dev

Please use a "real" nickname, not something like "Guest522632", if you are using a Java IRC client.

If you have not used IRC before, you should download mIRC which can be found here: http://www.mIRC.com (See the mIRC help for information on various commands etc)

You can also use our personal Java IRC client.

Btw, you may not get help whenever someone is on the channel. People tend to leave their PC turned on while they are away (something I do, its up 24/7)
So if no one is answering your questions, you'll need to wait a bit, maybe an hour, two.

I personally tend to be in #Wc3Dev as well. Sticky granted.

Yes...join #wc3campaigns if you want to be abused. However, Panto is the ruling admin in #wc3dev and I don't think he will tolerate a lot of asshattery.
