New home page

After a week (really) of work, I have something close to what I want for a homepage for the site.

It might change a little , mostly positioning and some styiling. Also plan to add some other modules.

I am open to suggestions, complaints and other kinds of feedback

What i can say?, this look really cool, good job Vexorian, this is much better than before.

Looks good but a few suggestions.

1 - The 2 maps extend farther then the rest, perhaps lowering image size.
2 - I like how you did the lastest resource/skin etc. Perhaps underneath the image list like 2 more recent works but just a link without an image, you understand?

There is no way vex will remove the images , those are that make thei ndex nice.

Noone said anything about removing images? :P

There is one thing that I think you could add: on resources, the author names should lead to the authors profile.

Newest and 2nd Newest sounds bad.

Make it Latest and Recent.

Love the new homepage.

I would do just 1 thing differently:
I would list latest submissions, user information etc. on the right part of the sight as opposed to on the left side as it is now.

But that's only me ^^

I still think 'newest' sounds bad. Most Recent or Latest IMO.

Maybe just call both maps "most recent" or "latest" or "newest". Just not 2nd Newest.

Oh tiki, I understand now, It might be a good Idea although take too much more space I dunno, I would also have to make the templates again.


Yeah well, at the beginning I wanted 3 columns, but the first column became too big, adding another column would squish the news. Then I thought about moving things to the right, but another wc3 site had already taken the idea

Thats what I was going to suggest, but it would look a bit like wc3sear.ch. Im just not used to things on the left side I guess.
