_AIL_set_sample_pan@8

Again, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in this section, but this is my best guess, as the tool I'm having problems with is connected to model editing.

Okay, so here is my problem. I'm trying to run yobgul's file converter. At first it didn't work because I was missing a dll file, mss32.dll

So I got it from the net. Now it says "Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point _AIL_set_sample_pan@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll." and still refuses to run the converter. Which is, slightly unfortunate for me as the converter is a critical thing when editing models.

Sounds like I got a faulty file from the net. My guess anyways, I don't know s**t about these things. Any idea what's causing the problem and how can I fix it?

Sounds like your mss32.dll is dodgy to me. It's one you copy from Warcraft, so if there's badness in there I'm surprised you can play the game at all. Try getting the dll from the original MPQs on the RoC CD.

Thanks for the fast reply.

I'd try that, but can't find the file.... Can't filter the list to .dll in winMPQ. Could you tell me the path of the file?

edit: Btw, if that doesn't work, could someone copy his/her mss32.dll file from their comp and attatch it here? I have a hunch that it might work.

No folders, it's just Mss32.dll. Good luck!

Mmh, no luck. I s'pose there is no .dll files in the mpq....

EDIT: Okay, found a working file. (and got the 2 other dll files it asked after that. dll files blow, seriously. >_<) And it works now. Thanks for the help.
