Err... suggestions?

This is my third model, never completed. Now I've dicided to finish it, but I've just no ideas for the skin. Mostly, concerning the design of the carpet, and the robe.

Make him..hmm Im not sure, maybe a royalish looking red or purple. Actually no use like a white instead or a blue
