Back about 2 year ago i made a cinematic. Named it dalaran arena, about a blademaster and knight who fought in the ruins of dalaran. I dont believe to many people saw it
But i decided to expand the first one with a new cast, and some better crap.
I havent finished it, but here take a look at the map. Still a few glitchs here and there, but hey, i wanted to go back to my roots.
Didnt put that many customs in it, (tunnel model is pratically only one)
Not good a custom scripts so its not as good as some other cinematics
*stares at Spirit of Vengeance*
Didnt get to putting sound in yet, and only a few songs from the game.
Enjoy the simplness of it!

btw if you wanna do anything to it, go ahead.

I watched your cinematic. First of all, thanks for posting it here.

Hope you'll take these as tips and you'll continue making cinematics:
  • Your cinematic lacks story. Just a few dudes fighting just doesn't cut it. If it has no story it will rather soon become boring. For next time, try to know exactly what you want to have in your cinematic and hold on to that "script" as much as possible.
  • The terrain couldve been better. First, you shouldve taken a much larger map, square wouldve been better. You should also look into scaling, terrain often is what makes a cinematic not fun to look at since it looks really to much like a game without meaning to.
  • The fighting was better than what ive seen most of the time (just two units bashing eachother seems to be the standard most of the times), but there's alot of room for improvement. The units you moved instantly dont move at all fluidly, they move rather choppy, move them at least around 16 times per second to get better results. The spells could have been a little more interesting to watch.
  • Alot of collision errors going on. Units walking trough doodads that seem solid, units walking into units.. you get the point.

I know this was a kind of negative reply, but I'm here to tell you how to improve, not to pet you on the back :). Goodluck with your next cinematic (I hope)!
