Idle worker icon question

I'm wanting to change the idle worker icon, the one in the bottom left hand corner. The race I'm using for that player is night elf and it shows a wisp icon for idle workers instead of the worker character icon I'm using for my workers. The only way I know to change this is to import the icon and replace the wisp one. However, already have several imports and I'm trying to cut corners on my map size. There must be an easier way to do this since the icon already exists in the directory.

Have you gone through Game Interface settings? It may just be in there.

Advanced --> Game Interface

scroll down to Icon - Idle Worker
change the icon in the field

That'll do it. I just tested and it worked.

Oh, I saw that in the interface but there was only a field that said peon. I couldn't find one that said wisp so I though it was something else. Thanks.

We definitely don't just close topics when something is solved. There may always need to be additional discussion.

For example, it's worth mentioning that changing the idle worker icon in the Game Interface changes it for every race. Once changed, all players will see that worker icon instead of their own.
