My question: What determines the position of Icons in the command card--above and beyond the Button Position fields in the editor? To further explain: It's common knowledge that the TFT World Editor lets you adjust the position of ability icons using "Art - Button Position - Normal X" (or using Buttonpos= in the func.txt files for you RoC vets). But what determines the icon positions if all the icons have the same button position? That is, if you set Carrion Swarm to 0,0, Frost Nova to 0,0, and so on? If you have 10 unit abilities, all set to 0,0, which ones will appear on the command card, and which will be "pushed off the edge"? Is it random? Is it hardcoded? Is it alphabetical by ability code? Does it depend on how they're added? I haven't found any definitive info on this. I will experiment myself if no answers turn up, but if anyone knows, please give us your understanding of the system. |

The first ability in the slk has priority (the result slk after converting object data of maps into slks when loading the game) In fact, you can consider this as a super random factor really difficult to predict |

RofOfNOD definitely knows how the order is determined. He made a tool that shows you how the command card will look in game. |

Cool, thanks Vexorian. The obvious next question: is there a way to affect the order of abilities in the .slk that gets made during map loading? In other words, is it totally random? Or is the order based on the order in which the abilities were made in the Object Editor? Or perhaps a certain procedure builds the slk according to a set list of abilities (in which case, X spell would always come after Y, no matter how the abilities were edited by WE). And I second that request for a link to RofOfNOD's command card "calculator". |

Does he maybe have a quick answer to my question: "can I affect the order of abilities that have the same button position?" |
