I'll allow it. In fact, if it's a staff-sanctioned event, I'll give it a temporary sticky.

I see too few good stories in maps. Even if a map isn't story-based, like an AoS, it can still benefit from some background story. If nothing else, having a story makes your map unique compared to all the no-story maps. So I support story making, and this contest.

No no, I've read the thread before I posted previously.

Are we supposed to post the entire story in the thread, or post a summary and then PM the rest of the story to you? Or do we post the summary, and then post the rest of the story somewhere else? Or can we choose to just PM the entire story to you?

The thread isn't very clear in explaining this.

Also, if we're all required to post our stories in the thread, wouldn't that be unfair for those who posted early? Since those who posted late can read other people's submissions, and improvise their own accordingly.

And, are the judges allowed to participate? If they are, will there be a conflict of interest?

Finally, what's the closing date?

No closing date,

Its your call on submission though, if you think that you want a whole story then do so, but if you want just a paragraph thats fine too.

And like i said post in BOLD your submission in the thread.

Well, the contest is over, so I'm de-stickying this. I hope to find the time to read through the entries someday.
