I have a number of issues I need help with on my map. 1. I have a unit that makes items and has the Shop Sharing and Shop Purchase Item abilities. For some reason sometimes when I try to buy stuff it says I need a valid patron even though my hero is right there. If I keep clicking it works eventually. What's up with that??? 2. How do I give the Spiked Barricades ability to a building that doesn't normally have it? I tried turning off the tech requirements but that didn't work. 3. How do you make a unit show the name of its unit-type and stuff when you hover over it? Some units/buildings seem to do it but I don't know how to make my custom units show it. 4. Can you make a building Shadowmeld? I tried, it didn't seem to work. |

That's strange, though; Spiked Barricades should work fine. Perhaps you're using a model that's not equipped with the right attachment point to show the model for the ability? |

But isn't spiked barricades supposed to show as a passive ability on the command card or something? Thanks shadow1500, you weren't totally clear but I did figure out that giving the unit the Neutral classification plus making it neutral passive or hostile on the map did make it show the hover info. Do stores always lag in recognizing your hero then? I haven't noticed. I mean I have to wait like 5 seconds sometimes. Maybe it is slow because I have a lot of stores in the same area. Nobody has an answer for #4? I have another question. 5. I spent all last night trying to make a stupid Circle of Power have an attack but it won't do it. Here is a screenshot of it's combat section: ![]() Yeah, I tried making it be able to attack everything but None. But anyway it didn't work when I copied the targets from a regular tower either. Is there some other factors affecting attack? I even tried adding the Attack ability, no luck. Can't any unit be converted into any other unit if you just copy it's settings? I am using the Circle of Power in a bunch of triggers, and my map has 72 triggers atm, so I really don't want to go searching through them and replacing them with a building that will actually attack! Incidentally what does Maximum Number of Targets do? |

I believe you *need* to have at least 1 in "Number of Dice" and "Sides of Dice". Hope that's all that's wrong. |

I think it may be that your circle is invulnerable, or that it is neutral passive. Let me go test those theories. |

Max number of targets is for the huntress's bouncing attack. You shouldn't do all those things for AOE targets, you currently have it damage invulnerable units... just make it same as normal targets. |

Panto is totally right, I made a circle of power on a test map that I have. I set all the attack stats to the same as yours. As soon as I added 1 dice with 1 side, the circle started attacking my units. Before that, it wouldn't attack. I did have it classified as neutral hostile though. It was still invulnerable at the time. Let me test the neutral passive theory cause I'm not sure. [edit]Yeah, you also have to make sure you don't have it still classified as neutral passive too. Editor - Display as Neutral Hostile...........true. or giving it a race would probably work as well. |

Oh man! That was it, the dice. There are so many settings I never noticed that one. Thanks guys. And thanks Immoralis for that clarification. |
