Jurassic Exploration

Here are some screeenshots of the new version of my map I'm working on.
Jurassic Exploration, latest released version can be found on wc3sear.ch, but the version 1.3 will also be released on wc3c.

I especially like the 3rd pic.

I love the third pic, so many maps (my own especially T.T) barely scratch the surface of what the terrain editor can do... nice work!^^

Wow, nice use of the big trees, and the third person view, makes it look like a different game, well, besides the interface and models. But anyways...

The giant redwood forest is the has the best terrain in the map, but the rest was hard without using grass. Grass was yet to evolve in the Jurassic period, so I used the sunken ruins plants as prehistoric ferns, but I think I'll replace them with a custom model.

the trees I used as Giant redwood trees for the forest are actually pine trees made by Born2Modificate, I downloaded that model from Wc3search

It also has a arrow movement system.

Hmm shouldn't this be in the pomotional screenshot place? I can't really see the terrain too well, but from what I see it's pretty good for ingame stuff.

Ehm... yes

the marine brings the quality of it down but the allosaurus is nice.

and the trees are kinda far appart and there isn't near as much vegetation as i'd except but I guess thats for playability.

IRL there are forest with trees that far apart, and maybe it could use some more vegetation.

A single player map... you'll find out when it's done.In fact it's about done, but there's a bug that restricts me from uploading.
