Max irc user limit

What is up with this user limit? I can never log on and since PR website is down I can't even go on irc to talk to my team mates.

there is no user limit. IRC supports hundreds of thousands of concurrent users (even up into the millions)

Something is obviously wrong with how you are connecting or the client you are using. If you are getting an error, you should post what it is so we can help you.

Yes there is a limit. Try to use lunatic.irc-wizardz.net instead.

If one is full, use another.

I have never seen lunatic or maxcrane being full (maxcrane has been down though) but irc-wizardz.net is often fulll lately.

Just to keep you updated on the situation, the site's being transferred over to this server, and once that's complete, everything should be working fine. It would be nice to see that completed soon. I don't even want to imagine the audience we've lost because of all this downtime (and the explaining we'll have to do).
