is there any way to disable the minimap so it just shows a black screen? so when your in the map playing the game, you cannot use the minimap icon screen to see your units or see other parts of the map. really.. i just want the minimap image to be a black screen or a different image, but i do not want anything showing up in the minimap screen related to what's on the map. |

There's no conventional way to do it (that is, with triggers). I've thought of importing a big black .blp and having it be one of the creep camp locations, but I'm not sure as to the size restrictions of those. Also, you could just have the whole map in cinematic mode and move with arrowkeys... that could be a pain though. |

importing a corrupted .blp file will do the trick. |

war3mapMap.tga Just check "Use Custom Path" and put that in there. That should be all it takes. For the corrupted .tga (I'm thinking that's what infrane meant), I bet you can just create a blank text file and then rename it to war3mapMap.tga. Incidentally, if you use a valid .tga file (256 x 256 i believe, or maybe just your map dimensions) it will use that as the minimap. |

war3mapMap is a blp file, war3mapPreview is a tga, but that doesn't have anything to do with the minimap. |

hey thanx. i created a text file and renamed to war3mapMap.blp and imported it into my map and used the custom path name as war3mapMap.tga and the minimap appeared as blank just like i wanted it. thanx again guys/girls. |
