What kind of special thing would I have to do to allow a Demon Hunter to have Bladestorm? I'm talking just the animation of the Bladestorm cuz it already does the right amount of damage and stuff. It just looks messed up cuz the Demon Hunter doesn't spin. Is there a required animation set that I need to specify somewhere? Any help is appreciated. |

Guest | the demonhunter doesnt have the bladestorm spinning animation. Check the bm unit animation and you know why when you scroll through those variations. unforunately, you cant give dh the spinning effect in other words, as its part of the model itself. |

yup that's right... you can only give bladestorm to a custom hero that is based on the BM or Grom Hellscream model... other than that... you can't... |

Well you can give bladestorm, but the animations wont show up. it still works to full effects, but you dont see animation |

There would be a way around it, but far too complex i think to be worth it. You could replace the demon hunter with a blademaster when he casts bladestorm, then have the blademaster cast the bladestorm spell, then replace it again after 7 seconds. Only problem is i'm not sure how that would work with spell cooldown and all. |

Actually... that might work. Definately complicated, but it might work. I'll mess around with it and post what I come up with, if anything... Thanks. |

You could add an animation to the spell, maybe a target art. That way the units around it are getting hit, and showing they are getting hit. |

What do you mean? Like make my own animation? |

No, he means adding animations through the .txt files... If you don't know how to edit the .txt files, then you should look about on the forums, for the are many places that tell you how to do this. You could make a cyclone effect as a caster art, and have a purge effect for the target art. Though.... this won't acctually make the demonhunter spin at all... |

The only animation I could think of that might work is cyclone, used as casterart in the .txt file. |

Yeah, I know how to edit the .txt files. I'll try that too and see if I like it. I'd probably sooner like to try it with triggers though to at least have the illusion that the Demon Hunter is spinning. Thanks guys. |
