Just started working with the map editor a few days ago, so im kind of a noob at this I was checking out the terrain tutorial in this forum and noticed that it was showing someone making huge cliff type things with the raise tool. When I try to use the raise tool it will only let me raise one spot about 1 height level before it won't let me raise anymore. Is there some setting i need to change in order to let me keep raising it as much as its showing in the tutorial? Also, is there a way to make cliffs be able to be more than 2 levels before it has to extend in x/y before it can do another cliff? |

It doesnt keep going if you click and hold, you need to click repetedly...if that doesnt work your doing something wrong or theres weird settings on your editor. And no. |

I am clicking repeatedly, but once it gets to a certain point (which like i said is about the same height as a 1 level cliff) it won't let me raise it any more. edit: it does this when im using a cursor size of one, when i do bigger it will let me raise it more, but it wont let me make any slope steeper than about 45 degrees |

Actually it was all answered in Gitlichs tutorial, which I even linked you to. You should pay closer attention to what you read. Anyway glad your problem is solved, I'll close this now. |
