I got idea of map wich are a combat game like Power stone but with warcraft and is still played with mouse, with many characters and unlockable characters,Different arena like Library,Cemetary,Garden etc.Several mode as Arcade,Versus,Survival,Coop survival,Coop Arcade.Mode is choose by the host.When the mode is choose players must select a character in a tavern or like aos with circle of power.Then host choose an arena if it's versus mode.Then they fight each other or against AI in the arena. I tought about a point system to unlock new characters example:each fight give 100 pts and finishing arcade mode give 500 pts and for example the gargoyle character need 2500 point to be unlocked. The arcade mode are conclued by a Boss stage with a overpowered boss character wich can be unlocked (generally the last unlockable character) Each character have their own abilities and there are 4 type of abilities : Light attack :rapid attack but deal light damage Heavy attack :Hight damage attack but slow to be casted and easly avoidable Special:A special abilitie for each characters which can be very different (self heal,summoning...) Ultimate :A very powerfull attack wich need full mana jauge to be casted They have as well a normal attack The mana jauge is like "energy jauge" from wow rogue characters When the fight or the arcade mode is end.The host return the mode selection title and can choose another mode.But i don't want the mode selection title is a dialogue button because other player can't see and it pause the game.I thought about more a "spellcraft" mode selection system but not exaclty it's more like circle of power which have dummy abilities like "Select this mode" and a floating text which are writing the name of the mode above the circle. The circle are owned by passive neutral when the host(the red player) select the circle it change owner and color to show other player what mode are selected when he cast the dummy abilitie "select this mode" it will start the mode.All via triggers. And i thought about randomly spawned bonus items in the arena. Example:Book are spawned in the library which can give different buff :full mana,speed bonus etc... There are also fake bonus item like Mushroom in the Forest arena (some can heal some are poisonous) There are different bonus item in each arena. There are also trap on each arena example :In the cemetary there are burrowed zombies near graveyard when a player walk near the zombie he will attack him.And there are ghost near the creep who slow near player. There are A giant hydra in the island arena who spit acid on a random point of the arena etc... I started a map but i'm not enought experienced i wanted to fart highter than my ass. In my (graveyard)map character are normal units not heros but you can use heros if you want upgradable characters like "dynasty warriors" If someone is interrested by the idea he can make a map. Yes it's pretty like arena map but whit some more I have made some characters for example: -Vampire Light attack:Bat swarm (look like demitri attack in Drakstalker game) Heavy attack:Death tornado(look like bladestorm but the vampire cant move but he pull enemy player to him) Special:Blood drain like life drain but not channeling the vampire can move (i didnt manage to make this spell) Ultimate :Night lord spawn bat swarm all around the arena which are very hard to avoid all bat swarm -Gargoyle Light attack :Strident howl (damage enemy in cone area) Heavy attack:Wing strike (the gargoyle charge enemy in line) Special :Stone forme (the gargoyle are slower but has better defence and highter attack damage for a short time period) Ultimate:I had not idea of ultimate for gargoyle any other you can inspirate yourself if your are interressted by the idea By the way the survival mode are swarm of creep which are spawned in wave each wave are stronger than the previous and it can be played in coop (like enfo map) |
