Animating

I have one question. How does everyone make alternate units for non-morphing models (Ex: The Archdruid on Wc3search, or I found some pics of a druidess that turns into a Tiger or an Owl!) Do I need complicated programs for this?

You just need 3ds max 5 and animation knowledge.

You could do it with Oinkerwinkle's anim transfer.

That example model has some very basic animations - the elf crouches and shrinks. the animals just shrink (or grow).

Aye, but that's if you want to use in-game anims as far as I know (or anims made by others). If you want to make your own from scratch, then max 5 is the easyest way to do them.

I had 3ds Max 5, but the damn thing expired. I know how to change one animation, but my converter gives me an error when i want convert the model.
