It is an odd piece, for sure. The lighting is rather good but the brush used seems to be very large.

Small brushes usually look better; They give it more detail.

The bigger the brush the better. A small brush is a usual mistake by people who first start to use digital painting programs. Its all about control, the more you can do, with less detail, the better the image looks.
