I am making my own little campaign map so I can understand triggers and stuff on my own, but I am having a problem with the computer AI. I got it to collect rescources but it will never build or attack me. Here's my trigger order if it helps to show my problem any. Melee Game-Enforce Victory/Defeat AI-Start campaign Ai for player 2(blue) Trigger-Turn on(this trigger) Melee-Time of day Melee-Limit heros to 1 hero type Melee-Give town scroll to all heros Melee-Starting resources Melee-Remove creeps from start location I wish ai was easy to do like it was in starcraft ![]() |

Well, you need to use AI editor. Create an AI in there, specify build orders and such, etc... |

i know its bad to double post but im not sure how to get anyone to see this again after that last reply of mine,i look around on the ai editor but how do u make the computer continuely make units, and make waves more than just once |

Well i never actually worked with AI editor myself, but i understand that the computer makes everything you tell him to continiously. Is this not so? |

i guess it might,it has a build order but when i tried it i think the cpu did it only once, its the attack and building parts of the ai editor that are confusing me i think |

Well, if nothing else works, you can trigger it. Like, make a periodic trigger that makes computer train some unit every x seconds. And then, when a large enough unit group is assembled, make it pick a random hostile townhall-type building, and attack move to it. That should be 3 triggers max. |

map.ai human.ai orc.ai undead.ai nightelf.ai if u want easy ai, use "map.ai" or if u want normal ai, use the one that corresponds the race of the comp. |

ok ill give it a try. It just keeps sending the whole attack force at me when i mess with the ai editor so ill try settin its race |

By the way, I don't think you need the "Turn On (This Trigger)" trigger. That's for turning on triggers that are turned off. I wouldn't want you to think you had to add that to every trigger. They are all on by default. |
