RPG Project: Fields of Glory

Edit: Ah, my bad. Here comes a bit more information.

One could say it is an Open-RPG for the reason that player(s) are not really forced to play a certain character or follow a certain storyline, rather they can develop their characters in any way they want. There won't be any restrictions like classes or professions. To get better at skills a character simply needs to train that skill by using it. Physical stats can be raised by hard work etc. In addition to some basic things like fighting and casting spells players can practice any or all of the 18 tradeskills. Of course there will be more to do than just developing the preset skills and stats.

Most importantly I'll try to make the world as dynamic and interactive as possible. Even such simple things as rain can have certain effects on certain aspects of the game. Some monsters/animals may become extinct, villagers will act differently towards a character with a good/bad reputation, monsters may become neutral/hostile towards you and so on. All of these depend on the actions of player(s). The only actual city in the map will be as living place as it can with occasional events and happenings.

Randomization is also one interesting aspect I'll try to incorporate in the map. Some quests may be unattainable, monsters might dwell in different locations, location of items and things may change etc.

I hope that clarified it a bit. I can occasionally have trouble penning my ideas.
