WC1 Campaigns remade in WC3?

I just wanted to know if someone has remade the WC1 campaign in WC3?

Would be very interested in playing it, to brush up on my knowledge about what happened in the First War, but the original WC1 does not work well on my computer. Too fast etc.

Have you tried running W1 in DosBox and slowing it down?

I have wc1 and played it. It's funny because you meet Medivh in the human campaign, he's an evil, insane, warlock who wants to kill you and everyone else.

I've seen a campaign on wc3 that trails back to how the orcs got to azeroth and laid seige but never really went that far into the 1st war. It's called "The coming of the Horde" I think.

Realm Design are doing it.

There is a Dos emulator, named DosBox.
It can run 80% of Dos games out there at proper speeds, with only minor glitches, depending on how you configure it.

Ya... and you use Ctrl-F12 (as far as I remember) to speed up, and Ctrl-F11 to slow down (close to that, look in readme)

to add to what Whitehorn said, Realm design are doing an excellent mod called dawn of chaos. Progress has slowed recently, but i's advise you to go search for it. I believe a multiplayer demo and the start of the human campaign was released. ( I should no more as I was part of the team)
