obsidian statues and destroyers?

where are they from and what are they?

i searched everywhere but i still have no idea where theyre from! infact what are they?

if anyone knows PLEASE post.

I have no idea, but my theory is this:

They served the old gods as part of thir massive insectoid army. When they split into the slithid and nerubian empires, both sides retained some destroyers and statues. The slithid ones remain in Ahn'qiraj ready to slay any who venture past the gates. After the War of the Spider, ner'zhul not only rose some of the great Nerubian spider lords but perhaps some destroyers and statues as well which is why you see them in TFT. Wether these scourge destroyers are truly undead or just in a pact with ner'zhul like the necromancers (yep, necromancers aren't technically dead but they do have a pact with the lich king), I dunno.

I thought it may have to do with the bug people too but if you take a close look at both models they do NOT look like theyre nerubian or silithid...its odd.

They're alive, magical beasts. They eat.

Perhaps avatars or servants of the Old Gods as the Hydras, Forgotten Ones (including the Faceless and Unbroken Ones, of course.), quiraji, etc.

Obviously when I asked that question I ment the origins and the species of them...not the dead obvious.

I really doubt that the name of the species is Obsidian Destroyer. Its like I wouldnt call the species of a unit "Necromancer" or if I said your species was "Whitehorn".

You asked 'what are they'. I said what it was. If you wanted to know what species it was, bloody well say 'what is its species' in your first post. You frustrate yourself with poor communication.

Whitehorn every intelligent person in my life unless their trying to frustrate me always understands what Im trying to say, I find it obvious what Im trying to get across, you are an intelligent person so it frustrates me that you are so ignorant. If you thought about my post for a few more seconds I am sure you would have understood, and arnt you the one who said that you take a few moments to post because your proud when your post? I do beleive you said that, and if you do that you can take a few seconds to make sure you understand the reason and meaning of my question.

OK BACK ON TOPIC *SHAZAM* I think the destroyers arent even alive,(my opinion), I believe that they are just certain magics inused in a block of obsidian that is shaped like it is...just my 2 cents
