I'm sorry, this is a very stupid question, I am well... attempting to make a very simple melee map. Everythign works fine, doodads, creeps, terrain, but there is one problem that always well happens. I can only place one town hall, yeah I switch players to get to the other ones and I see the spining spiked ring where it SHOULD be, there is no problem with placement whatsoever. However, when saving or testing etc. it says: "This map is no longer considered a melee map becuase one or more start locations have been placed incorrectly. How do I place these correctly? OR How do I fix this? |

Mostly it is because one or more of them is to close to a mine. |

Most likely they are too close to goldmines. Eventually set in Player Properties players as User. |

You should see a keep/other main building in the ring, or else something is in the way. |

I thought I explained this in my post: There is NO problem with placement; I could try to place it in the middle of a desert and it still wouldn't work. Yes I realize that I would see it inside the ring if it worked but it doesn't. |

Did you try setting players to User? |

Look at a pre-made made, make sure your only placing start locations. Dont place starts for players that gonna be in. (So if you want it to be a 2v2 map, dont place locations for brown or green) also make sure all your player settings are correct, becuz at the start of all maps it is only 1 player which is red. Read one of the WE tuts by usin the help menu thing on the WE toolbar up top. |
