I am starting a RpG after the oo so popular Untold Legends Hack and Slash Character build game. In the following discription i will touch up on the characters how many maps there will be the save load and spells (will put in tomorrow). Legends:Brotherhood of the blade!!! Why would i do this you might ask: Because this is a game i enjoyed and would make a good simple yet challenging rpg. Whats max level/how many "zones"/how many maps will be made: The max level will be 100. There will be over 100 zones and because of this veriaty and how many diffrent monsters there are (300) i will be forced to split this map into 4 diffrent maps (or 3 not sure) so you dont have to go though the huge loads and lag that alot of rpgs have. Will it be playable solo: Unfortunatly no there is to many dishonest people in this world that will exploit the shit out of the map. I want to see the triggers to help me learn is this map protected: Yes the map will be protected but i will will have a blank map with all the triggers (exept a few that i cant give like the save load code). If you need a save load code i can direct you in the path to a sample map that will have a good explanation. Potions: Potions will be over time healers but very fast over time i cant make them instand that would offset the balance and the strat. How Many players will be able to play: I will only allow 6 people to play and before you bitch about it let me tell you its normally 4 so i'm bending my leg backwards for you on this part. I will be running the attack just like VQuest with a multi board because its really the only way to do it because this game has 4 Attributes instead of the normal three. The Damage and Attributes will be done multi board everything else will be normal. I will be doing the attack with press a button to attack so you can experience the hack and slash i will do it alot like Chunks Gauntlet game. In Untold Legends the Dungeons change there look everygame how will you do this: I will not being doing this it is going to take up to much time i might put this in after the base map and a few more are up and going MABYE. I will be doing it normal i dont think someones going to be going to the same zone when theres over 100 in the game (25 or so in each map). Bosses: Bosses will be identical to the Brotherhood of the Blade ones. Difficulty: I really dont know what i'm going to do so if i could have your opinion on this for the difficulty should i do it based on your persons level or just have a set difficulty? Items: Should items have a level requirement on them? This was a big thing for me and again i would like your opinion or a solution to pleasing both crowds of people who like to twink someone or the people who like to play it straight. My spell system like you have heard Vent talk about once on forums i will be doing it like FFF so i can incorpurate all the spells and abillities. There are no cooldowns for the game but i'm adding a 1 sec Global Cooldown to stop someone from ultimate ownage. What are the classes and what makes them unique from each other: Alchemist: Alchemists employ the use of eldritch science and its untold capabilities in their exploration of the dangerious outer territories. Main Attribute: Dexterity Secondary Attribute: Intelligence Spells (that i'm adding in): i will have updated in 5 hours most likely. Druid: Druids are dedicated preservationists who harvest the unseen power of nature in their crusade against corruption. Main Attribute: Intelligence Secondary Attribute: Dexterity Spells (that i'm adding in): i will have updated in 5 hours most likely. Knight Knights practice an ancient form of combat that has been pefected thoughout the passing centuries. Main Attribute: Stamina Secondary Attribute: Strength Spells (that i'm adding in): i will have updated in 5 hours most likely. Berserker Berserkers are the embodiment of umbridled fury, force and bloodthirsty vengeance. Main Attribute: Strength Secondary Attribute: Stamina Spells (that i'm adding in): i will have updated in 5 hours most likely. What does each of the Attributes do what do they each favor: Strength: Strength affects how much damage your character does using melee weapons and how much weight can be carried. Strength is recommended for Knights and Berserkers. Intelligence: Intelligence affects how much power your character has. Intelligence is recommended for Alchemists and Druids. Dexterity: Dexterity affects how much damage your character does using ranged weapons and special abilities. Dexterity is recommended for Knights and Druids. Stamina: Stamina Affects how much health your character has. Stamina is recommended for Berserkers and Alchemists. I will be recruiting help in 1 week after i get the base Terrain done looking for 1 terrainer 1 Unit Editor(i have no exsperience here) and 1 Trigger person to work with me on Triggers (I will work in jass) My Strength and weeknesses. Triggers are my thing they like me i like them. Terrain i'm so so on this and i can do ok work but the detail is what kills me. Unit Editor Never touched it might bite. Importing hopefully someone else can do this cause i straight up get maddning confused and can only accomplish it in some winds of luck (always for the terrain import). |

So far you lack a hero which has dexterity as a main attribure. Try adding a thief and/or bard. |

Name sounds VERY much like the name of our project, Unsung Legends. |

Info Update: I have decided on what armor everyone will be able to use. It will be in 3diffrent catagories. Light Armor: Will be all Cloths Medium Armor: Will consist of every thing having to do with Metals (not wepons) Heavy Armor: Since this is based way back when this will consist of everything stone or wood nothing metal at all. Alchemist: Light Armor Why light armor? Because this will be your caster and will have limited Melee capabilities you want to keep him in ranged. Druid: Medium Armor Why Medium? Medium because he is a decent melee hitter which meens he'll be in combat and needs to stay alive. Knights: Medium Armor Why Medium? This would be one of the bigger conflits everyone would think (if you played RpG's such as Eq2 or Wow) he would use heavy armor. Yet Knight is the tanks of the game but he is an incredibal hitter and what else would take that way? Stone and wood!! Beserker: You guessed it the only Heaver Armor Wearer Why Heavy? Being outcasts they use there resorces which would be mainly Stone and Wood there ac will not be more then Medium but will be less. May have a few questions on your mind i will answer i few i think you might have. The reason there names are Light Medium and Heaver are not because of there Ac range but how much they way Beserker armor tends to way more than Medium and Light. Hope this Clears up a few things about the Armor Choice. Sorry about the Spells i am trying my best to get them there will be 10 spells for each class and i'm trying to figure out which to keep and which not to. If you have heard of the new Untold Legends Warrior Code coming out i will not be putting in the characters that they have i have spent to much time setting this up over a month now getting everything decided. |
